Description

Two men from diverse cultures are destined to search for the enigma that surrounds 'The Eye of Allah'.

Thomas de Lacey, an extrasensory and mystic working for an international espionage agency is brought out of retirement to help solve the mystery surrounding the 1979 seizure of the Grande Mosque and the small priceless piece of meteorite known as the 'Eye of Allah'. Assuming the mantle of a conveniently dead Greek Orthodox priest, who is physically his twin, Thomas encounters unexpected problems when threatened and blackmailed by a gay friend working for a local group of gangsters. An emergency distress call throws him into the arena of those his dead double is officially employed by. Namely, a secret subterranean network operating as a communication centre for a powerful space and lunar satellite system which is situated just off Symi, his island home. He learns that his priestly profession and parish are a guise for more complicated and deadly matters. As the mystery begins to unfold, Thomas is forced into a game of cat and mouse to save his life and uncover the powers behind a plan to control the world.

Waseem Yusuf Ya'qub and his brothers Abdul and Shamin are double agents working with SEVAK, an Arabian secret police force. Waseem is promoted to Head of the secret force in the belief that his brother Shamin has been killed by a mysterious crime syndicate. Personal life threatening incidents convince him that there are two major powers involved. In pursuit of following leads, he is dramatically abducted and taken to a secret desert location known as 'The Wings of a Lion'. There he discovers more facts about the powerful organisation he has been seeking to destroy and the enigmatic 'Eye of Allah'.

Darker, sinister and deadly international events draw Thomas and Waseem closer until they stand side by side to battle the major power determined to control the lives of every human being. A major power whose seeds reach far back into the history of a secret and sacred organisation.
