The Ibis is a long poem in which Ovid invokes the Egyptian bird of ill omen to curse his former friend and rival, who had accused him of a crime. Finally, the Halieuticon is a short poem in which Ovid describes the fish that can be caught in the Black Sea, where he lived during his exile.
