"The Fruits of American Protection" is a 1906 treatise on the 1897 Dingley Act, which raised tariffs in United States to counteract the Wilson-Gorman Tariff Act of 1894. In this volume, Hobson looks in detail at the effect this had on industry and the country as a whole, especially the resulting changes to people's well being.
