Description

There is a haunted bridge just outside of the small town where Perry Normal and his friends attend middle-school. They discover not one but two ghosts--each with a different mission and message for the kids to unravel. The ghost of a Revolutionary War soldier returning home after 241 years leads them on an adventure through the pages of American and Great Lakes colonial history that happened right there in Upper New York state. Follow Perry and his chums as they trace the threads that lead them to a hidden site on a Native American Indian reservation that holds a secret treasure. Perry's best friend Henry Schuyler discovers his family lineage includes a distinguished soldier in the army of George Washington who defended local Fort Stanwix from British and Iroquois forces in 1777. But the heroic Americans left behind a treasure that only Perry and The Malt Shop gang can uncover. They also bring closure to their school and community for the tragic loss of a girl killed in an accident at the bridge. They come to learn that the spirit world can indeed interact with our everyday world as they unlock the secret of the two ghosts of Lantern Bridge.
