The Lonely Road recounts my journey of starting college as a freshman, seeking acceptance, identity, and purpose. I graduated from high school in Terry, MS, in 2011 and moved to Hattiesburg, MS, to attend The University of Southern Mississippi. In my story, I explore the common struggles of college students trying to discover themselves and grow individually. I share my personal experiences throughout my college career and offer encouragement to others facing similar challenges.
This book is more than just a college story—it's a life story enriched with inspiration and wisdom from those who deeply invested in me. I discuss the importance of self-investment, building relationships, and making a difference in the lives of others. As I navigated my lonely road, I had to discover who I was to truly define myself.
