This book outlines various ways that the living God can be found and brought to life. Beginning with the Bible (the Old and New Testaments), the book explores the ways that the gospel comes alive in the faith experiences of others, in a human person. Based on his own teaching experiences, the author uses the faith experiences of his students and his own life experiences to illustrate how they experienced the word of the gospel. This book tells stories of God's mercy in the author's life and in the lives of friends and students who have given permission for them to be shared. Some of the stories are meditations on the stories of mercy in the Bible seen through the eyes of those who told them or those who wrote them. The final chapter provides suggested questions for personal reflection and discussion.
