Determined to give his boys the best chance of winning, he pushes them to train harder and harder. Cornelius Cone and Bennie Barrier soon realise that even though they are great competitors, they are also the very best of friends too. In The Tale Of The Camping Trip, Tricia Trolley, Wet Floor, Cornelius Cone and Bennie Barrier go camping for a night in The New Forest. The four friends tell tales of their lives when they were younger until Cornelius notices that Bennie Barrier has become rather quiet. When Bennie Barrier tells everyone how he arrived at The Maintenance Yard, Cornelius reassures him that he will always be his best friend. In The Tale Of Dolly Duck's Dilemma, Cornelius Cone and Bennie Barrier get themselves into all kinds of trouble when they ask their friend Bruno Bus to join them on a quest to discover the strange goings on around Hatchet Pond and Farmer Quackers Farm. Luckily for Cornelius, his friend Postman Pete remembered Cornelius Cone's new shoes. In The Tale Of Quentin Quarrington, It's Tricia Trolley's birthday and all of her friends have arranged for a barbecue birthday party for her.
