After surviving several life-threatening events as a child, Joe Gilbert grew up to face even more danger as a soldier in the battles of Vietnam and Desert Storm. Yet each time, it was the will to live and resilience that kept him going. In November, 2023 after losing his wife of 53 years, that will waivered and he questioned what purpose he had to carry on. It was his daughter, Cali who reminded him of his value and supported him in setting a new course moving forward. Today, at age 84 Joe is living the dream as an Artist, proving it's never too late to start over. Come along on this globe-trotting journey of sheer determination and perseverance.
