We have all experienced trials and tribulations on this journey called life; and although these experiences have been far less than pleasurable, they were necessary. Through scripture we learn that we can trust God's sovereignty and His plans for our lives...even when those plans include persecution and affliction.

This devotional will help you come to the revelation that God is right in the midst of every storm that blows through our lives. You will begin to understand that the purpose of affliction is to drive us to God and His Word;
through which we find comfort, learn of God's faithfulness, and find restoration and transformation. In our darkest hour, deepest pain, hardest times, and most hopeless situations we should remember that, through the Lord's mercies, we will not be consumed. God is faithful and therefore we can put our hope in him (Lamentations 3:22-24)
