Includes Navarrete's account of the island of Santo Domingo (1679) and appendices on various matters such as the detention of the missionaries in Canton, 1666-70, and Navarrete's relations with Richard Cony, governor of St Helena. This is a new print-on-demand hardback edition of the volumes first published in 1962.
