From the controversial theological writer John Wyclif to the origins of the jet engine, the history of Lutterworth, a small market town in the south-west of the county, has been both rich and varied. This work charts the evolution and development of Lutterworth from small beginnings before the Norman Conquest to the challenges posed today by its position as a key location for the modern logistics industry, whilst also detailing the effect of Lutterworth's people on the place that they call home.
