Ever since going sober, Meredith Townsend has kept busy by helping her friend clean up the mess left over when they took down Aspect Society's biggest boogeyman, Elijah Winters. When they find a dog locked in a basement at one of Elijah's old compounds, Meredith's magic immediately senses a lie. She knows it definitely isn't a dog, but she never expects a werewolf-since everyone knows they don't exist.

Jensen King spent six months as Elijah Winters' captive while the sadistic Aspecter tried to discover the secrets of all things Shifter. Now that Jensen's free, he only has one goal: locate the other Shifters stolen from his pack before they get sold to the highest bidder at an underground magical auction. But his beautiful, suspicious rescuer isn't exactly easy to sneak away from.
