As you delve into Veil of Blood: The Queen's Awakening, I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about my journey in writing this novel and the world it inhabits. This book is not just the beginning of a singular story but the first chapter in an unfolding series that I've spent years developing. It is part of a larger collection of novels centered around the delicate and dangerous balance between immortality and humanity, ancient power and modern conflict.

Throughout this series, you will encounter not only vampires who have lived through centuries but also those who challenge their dominance in a world that has radically shifted in terms of power, technology, and the very fabric of reality. The complexities of these beings — their desires, their burdens, and their timeless struggles — are what I find most compelling. I invite you to explore these themes with me, as each book unveils new layers of the mythos I've created, all while reflecting on the nature of power and its effects on both the individual and society.
