Description
We have all heard how Adam was deceived and ate the "Forbidden Fruit" in the "Garden of Eden." As a result, all authority that God had given to Adam was handed over to satan at that moment. Though God foretold that He would send a Messiah to redeem mankind back to God, satan's quest was to keep it from happening. The Messiah had to come through a "pure bloodline." We see a pattern the enemy uses throughout all 39 books of the Old Testament, trying to corrupt all bloodlines or to destroy God's people, in order to prevent the Messiah's birth. His mission fails, the Messiah is born. In the following 27 books of the New Testament, we see satan's pursuit in attempting to destroy Jesus, the disciples, believers, and finally Christendom. However, God remains one step ahead of him at all times. GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! HE WINS! Lynn and John Ahrens are Associate Ministers of the Gospel at Shield of Faith Ministries in Saginaw, Michigan. Having been married 47 years, they have four children, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. As their children were growing up, they were known as the Ahrens Family Singers, singing and witnessing throughout Michigan and Indiana churches as well as Christian festivals. Once the children got married and moved away, they delved into church ministry. Though this is her first penned book, Lynn has taught from the Bible since 1972. Her teachings range in topics such as: "Communion;" "Covenant Relationship;" "Revelation;" "The Seven Feasts of God;" "Paul's Thorn;" to name a few.
