James Ronald Kennedy was elected as commander for the Louisiana division of
the Sons of Confederate Veterans for the years 1989-92 and regularly
participates in Civil War re-enactments. Walter Donald Kennedy is the recipient
of the Distinguished Service Medal of the National Sons of Confederate
Veterans. Their other books are The South Was Right! and
Was Jefferson Davis Right?, both published by Pelican.
