All Hallow's Eve nears in Yverwood...
The citizens are preparing in their own ways, making plans, and enjoying the fall weather.
Except non-binary witch Aren, who is in a mood. Less frequent visits from their long-time friend and warlock, Robert Wutherford, have cast a spell of melancholy on Aren unlike them during their favorite time of year.
Enter Letty, a tourist who's fascinated with all things witchy. Letty makes Aren's insides burn and bubble, and turns her throat into a frog-inhabited, croaking mess, but Aren can't get attached. But Letty is only a passerby, a fleeting presence who, once All Hallow's passes, will disappear like a ghost.
When it becomes clear Letty's fixation on magic is serious, Aren must help her understand the dangers of misusing magic before All Hallow's comes to an end, and Letty moves on. All while battling metaphorical (not magical) throat frogs, helping their friends in town, and trying their best not to fall for Letty, despite how adorable and enchanting she is.
