This is due to Apartheid's pervasive presence in our daily lives before 1990, and the wide reaching effects of its aftermath in the post-Apartheid years. The enormous influence it had on almost every aspect of our childhood and early adulthood is second only to that of our belief in God and our Christian way of life. The Apartheid regime in South Africa to a great extent, shaped our lives and those of our parents, grandparents and ancestors as far back as we can recall. For those readers -- perhaps the younger ones, who are not fully aware of the key features of Apartheid, we have provided a brief overview but do encourage you to investigate the subject further.
