For the Love Of Music I… is NOT a "tell-all book," it's more of a book of memoirs, and a "Thank You," book, also, available in audio form, there will be more volumes. This first volume is going to take you through the musical journey. The journey of my life from the beginning part up to the middle section that I would say would get me to Volume 2.
It's about my life growing up in Church and the beginning part of my music career. I played in Church and worked with various Gospel Artists during this time. I share my journey through the beginning stages of my career with people I've come in contact with, meeting, knowing, learning, and growing with throughout my life and career. A lot of these people have helped me develop and become the Person, Musician, Producer, and Songwriter that I am today as some of you may know as D*LOC.
Some of these people you might know or have seen or heard on records, or different shows with some of your favorite Artists. Some of these people you might not know of. Hopefully, you will have an inkling of who they are by the time you finish reading and/or listening to this book. Although you will be reading, and hearing some situations that you didn't know happened. It's going to take you through what I would call a fascinating, exciting journey throughout my life musically—'cause I know I had fun. Hopefully, you will gather that as well by reading and/or listening to these volumes, and series of books.
