PING!
It goes without saying that some of the most stressful experiences we have come from our daily dealings at work. If it is not our boss's power trip it is the creepy co-worker who just happens to be in the copy room every time we decide to go. The job stress we sustain could come from the workload itself. Really - How many times have you looked around the office (or plant) and asked yourself, "What am I doing here?" Whatever the cause, there are several ways to both identify and circumnavigate work-related stress. Just so you know I am not - repeat - NOT a Psychologist, nor am I some "job stress specialist". Do your own research to find what works for you. I am merely one who has a long history of having stress-related jobs. I know first-hand that stress at work can hit like a hammer. We are late for work again - PING! Someone else's name suddenly goes on the project we have been working on for months - PING! Instead of getting a raise, we get fired. There is that hammer again - PING! This is a fun book full of suggestions, proposed ideas and albeit horrible work-related jokes that may give us the strength to say, "Good-bye to the hammer!"
