The Internet of Things can be characterized as joining the physical object, the computer embedded into it, and communication and code on the Internet itself. I focused on these three elements in both the prototyping and the manufacturing sections. I began by looking at some examples of the Internet of Things in action.
In this book, i look at the kinds of computer chips that can be embedded in objects (microcontrollers such as the Arduino) and take you through each step of the process from prototyping a Thing to manufacturing and selling it. I explored the platforms you can use to develop the hardware and software. Throughout the book, i discussed many REAL LIFE projects, I have tried to cover introduction, implementation of IoT using Arduino and RASPBERRY PI along with suitable Case Studies.
This book is aimed to the curriculum of the IoT and Edge Computing course at prominent global Universities / Institutions of the World.
