gold as the sun dipped toward the horizon. Then the sand upon my feet felt like silk, and everyone in my party without shoes experienced the softness of the sand welcome our travel tired soles. Gentle waves from low tide swung onto the beach, and tire tracks from beach vehicle recreationists sprawled in either direction. Sand pipers big and small danced on the wet sand seeking tender crab meat. All this and more, then it was dinner time, and we had the fortune to go to the Pickled Fish, and lo and behold it had many organic items on the menu just for us, well, everyone really, and the coffee was perfect as we sat on the forth floor over looking the great Pacific ocean from Long Beach...I'll be back again many times that is for sure...
