Author's Note
This series should be read in order. Masters' Escape is book two in the Angel Eyes Series. I highly recommend that you read Masters' Mistress: The Angel Eyes Series Book 1 before diving into Masters' Escape. The prequel, Jake's Redemption, would also help in understanding this world that is complex, often cruel, sometimes steamy and, surprisingly, sweet. Every book in the series will reveal a little more, not only between and about the characters themselves, but in the outside world, their local society, and how the characters' interact within each. Bret and Angel's overarching story continues throughout all the books, but it's important to get a base for the setting and rules to this complicated yet compelling story.
Please note: Though this book and the series have sex on the page, they are NOT erotica, but do have some dark elements. The story is predominately about family, trust, healing, and love, but reader discretion is advised.
