"Musaic 40 Days, 40 Nights" contains two stories told through poetry in a unified voice.
"Musaic" is the story of a writer who falls in love with his muse, and the emotional carnage on both sides that occurs as a result. It charts the attraction, consummation, and dissolution of multiple relationships personified in one person, and it details the fracturing of the patriarchal tendency to put women on pedestals, and view them as fantastical creatures rather than entering into a partnership with their humanity.
"40 Days, 40 Nights" finds that same writer navigating depression and attempting to write his way out.
