Diese Arbeit setzt sich mit dem Problem der Referenz auseinander, wie es im Rahmen der Analytischen Philosophie diskutiert wird. Sie versteht sich als eine Bestandsaufnahme, Typisierung, Kritik und Evaluierung der wichtigsten sprachanalytischen Referenztheorien von Frege, Russell, Geach, Ryle, Strawson, Searle, Wittgenstein, Ziff, Quine, Donnellan, Kripke, Putnam und Katz. Schwierigkeiten der einzelnen Ansatze werden benannt, und der Autor versucht, ihnen durch eine Synthese ihrer Vorzuge zu begegnen. This study deals with the problem of reference as it is discussed within the context of Analytical Philosophy. Its intention is a survey, typology and critical evaluation of the most influential reference theories put forth by Frege, Russell, Geach, Ryle, Strawson, Serale, Wittgenstein, Ziff, Quine, Donnellan, Kripke, Putnam and Katz. The author aims at developing a new theory of reference on the basis of his examinations.
