Seeing a guy walking a broken-down motorcycle down a deserted country road screams trouble.

So what did I do? Stopped and offered him a ride. And when he refused, I went to the house he's staying at, hoping to get to know him.

It probably wasn't the greatest decision, but I wanted to know his story, like why he just showed up here, in the middle of nowhere. Everyone keeps telling me not to trust him, so why can't I stay away from him?

At first it annoyed me, but now I like it when she comes over. I even miss her when she's not here.

Sage is smart, beautiful, and too nice to be involved with a guy like me. She doesn't need more trouble, especially after her con artist dad stole all her money.

She could've found someone better, so why did she pick me? And why did I let her?
