Tachis, the fastest sprinter in Greece, finds the sandals of Hermes on his doorstep. He learns that the god of speed has gone missing, and he puts on the sandals as a way of expediting their return to their owner. His feet gain a feathery lightness that allows him to blaze his way to athletic glory. Tachis becomes the envy of runners who aim to replace Hermes. A world-consuming threat emerges, and a race against time begins. Tachis must race to the top of Mount Olympus along with the other runners. He must outrun his peers in order to save the world of gods and mortals from imminent doom. Who will be the first to make it to Olympus?
