It's April 1943 and a secret mission involving the 5thSAS Regiment and a Royal Marines Commando platoon is taking place inside Germany's borders. To support the ground mission a massive bombing campaign is also occurring at the same time as the Special Operations Executive tries to determine what the Nazi's are building underground in a secret facility.
After recovering information that could reveal what the SS have been developing, Corporal Babcock and the rest of the Special Forces team escape out of Germany and make their way through hostile territory while being pursued by a hunter force. They hope to rendezvous with the French resistance and make their way back over to England but nothing is guaranteed as they encounter many challenges along the way.
Low on supplies and exposed to cold weather they must find the wherewithal to survive on their own until such time as they meet up with the support that they need. How do they manage to escape the German's that are after them? What kind of information have they discovered and why is it so important to get it all back to England so urgently?
