True Christian Religion is the last published work of Swedish visionary Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772). In it, he summarizes his theological ideas and gives his vision for the future of the Christian Church.
The first volume contains a discussion of the nature of God and the creation of the universe; the nature Jesus Christ and of the Trinity; the inner spiritual meaning of the Bible; the spiritual teachings of the Ten Commandments; and the nature of both faith and charity, and how the one relies on the other.
This edition is a reprint of a 1914 translation by John C. Ager.
