Description

Vandland is part of an extraordinary fantasy series that involves travel between different worlds and times. Continuing on from his adventures in the book Ildland, young Billy once again journeys to a world beyond our own, this time to the medieval kingdom of Vandland. Before long, Billy and his new friend, Jenks, as well as Alicia, Jack and Luke are rushing to aid the good wizard Jeremiah in the battle to save Vandland. The fight involves the Crusaders of Tor, whom Jeremiah believes to be followers of his old nemesis, Cornelius. Unfortunately, with the loss of the Book of Magic, Jeremiah's own position has been compromised and he can be of little help to his young friends. Billy gains new allies in the mighty Peter and the guide Franz. As they journey forth, events begin to take their toll and tensions within the group come to a head before Billy must again face Cornelius in their final showdown. The inspiration for the series comes from the Danish language, which is combined with kingdom names based on the elements. Ild (Fire), Vand (Water) and Jord (Earth) blend with world history to help create these fantasy adventures. About the Author: Hugh Henderson lives in historic Surrey, England. He is writing the third installment of the series, Jordland. Publisher's website: http: //www.sbpra.com/HughHenderson
