But this time our femme fatale is way more human, and so is our protagonist--who remembers what she did to him, so refuses to be whipped again. Meanwhile, earthquake omens erupt from the crust, llamas abound, and addicts clash. Gangs, abortions, porn and angst! Till fighting the sultry suck of her spell, our hero retreats to the fabled Mountain Palace, where things have changed. Especially when Lily, down and out, shows up in the Rockies. Spitzer, however, makes a shocking decision, which leads to the Ultimate Revelation.
