At first he became a Santa to make ends meet, but soon found that showing his natural love of people filled a hole in his heart that hadn't been so evident before. In the end Robert was surprised to discover that he, in reality, had become an authentic Santa Claus!
His existence was verifiable as an actual fact. His service grew out of practical matters and concerns. His actions were not artificial but heartfelt and genuine. And others strongly felt that he was worth of the name Santa.
Parents of all ages have introduced their children to the wonders of Santa Claus. But in so doing they have silently dreaded the day when their child might ask, "Is Santa Claus real?" Now, because of Robert Field, they can honestly answer, "Yes!"
