Description

Doreen, a dachshund who can talk, is given a shoe by a friendly cobbler. It is the most beautiful shoe she has ever seen. Seized by curiosity as to its maker, Doreen seeks advice from a wise dog-spirit who encourages her to go on a quest to discover who made the shoe and why. After a perilous journey, Doreen meets with a 'portadordeluz' - a magic boy who has been raised by Trolls. He tells her that the maker of her beautiful shoe is The Old Man in The Mountain.

But exactly who is The Old Man in The Mountain, will Doreen be able to find him and why has he spent an eternity crafting shoes of exquisite, unbelievable beauty?

And why does he only ever make one of each shoe?
