Description

Human Rights Education teaches us the practice of various values to be adhered. At the same time, the knowledge of it, transforms individuals accountable for their acts either at personal level or societal level. The knowledge of human rights would also lead us to establish an orderly, peaceful, and friendly society both at the international and national spheres. Universal Rights are rights that belong to people across the World without any difference as to race, sex, religion, language, or any other social, economic, political, or legal affinity. Rights have different meanings. However, in the eyes of law they are legal and moral entitlements, which need to be adhered by everyone. Positive rights are rights otherwise described as dependent rights, which may be exercised, on their guarantee by state or society. These are described as Economic, Social and cultural rights. Negative rights, which impose a duty on a person to respect the right of another person. These rights are civil and political rights. Treaty means an agreement legally binding on the states to regulate their day to day relations.
