Description

What if events inspired by that premise had twisted in a wildly different direction? Dinah Pojok, a shy, intellectual teenager, endures daily bullying as a social outcast in rural Montana. Strangely, classmates Beth Connell and Mark Klass invite her to party in Mourners' Woods on Halloween night. Mourners' Woods has been forbidden ever since another local teenager disappeared here last Halloween. This invitation is a trap: Beth and Mark plan to sacrifice Dinah to Ai Apaec the Decapitator, a monster character they've discovered on the internet. Dinah escapes and flees deep into forest gloom, hunted by these bullies. But who has set the real trap? Who has lured who into this wilderness? Which teenager is actually the hunter?
