Subsequently, Schiff base constitutes a significant class of compounds for new drug development. Recently, various Schiff base containing derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for their biological activities including as antimicrobial, antituberculosis, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsants, antidepressant and anxiolytic, antihypertensive, anticancer and antifungal activity.
