Clo, Letty and Granny Shearing...
There at every gathering, spinning thread and stories. Spinning, measuring and cutting through the thread that's spun...
They make sandwiches, wipe tears, mind children, stitch clothing and always have a story to tell...
When a young girl must leave home and make her own way...
When a new baby is born...
When a bride's wedding clothes are stitched...
When a neighbour dies...
Clo, Letty and Granny Shearing are there, spinning tales, weaving stories...And the tales they tell are Telling Tales.
(Warning: these are not fairy tales for young children.)
