The "Church Ministries" series consists of seven (7) books aimed at fostering the biblical principles and practices essential for the exercise of Christian ministry in the local church and for the benefit of the world. The Bible teaches that there are a variety of services (ministries) that can and need to be performed in the church. Some of these services are common to all Christians (evangelizing, interceding, etc.) and others are performed only by those who have a specific calling from the Lord (pastor, teacher, evangelist, etc.). All ministries are needed and it is only as "each part does its work" (Ephesians 4:16) that the church can produce its own growth. This first book in the series, "The Essential Vision," is about sharing the essence of the divine plan for world evangelization, explaining how every Christian can be a worker and every local church a missional center to bring the Gospel of Christt to the whole world.
