It's my wedding day but make no mistake: I don't want to walk down that aisle!
But marrying Kevin is the only way to pay for my sins.
I expect to have to force a smile, keep it together, play the part of a lovestruck bride.
What I don't expect is my first and only love, Levi Carter, to bound in and try to stop the wedding.
This is horrifying for three reasons:
1. I'm the daughter of a well-known pastor, so many of the country's most famous preachers are here.
2. The media has been pretty obsessed with me since my Olympic silver medal and will milk this for all it's worth.
3. Those who hold my strings are watching me. Closely.
The mere sight of Levi makes me want to gather my skirts and flee from the church with him.
But there have always been obstacles for him and me. Bigger obstacles than he realizes.
I'm tangled in a web of secrets, lies and scandals with no way out.
Life has never been kind to me, and now it presents me with an impossible choice.
If I marry Kevin, I doom my heart. If I leave with Levi, I doom…everything.
Whichever choice I make, my life is about to implode.
