WHAT IT'S ABOUT: Imagine it. You've come home from war. But as the old song goes, "Home isn't home anymore." You're dealing with the pain and trauma of not only the war, but years of having been a police officer. Now you're back and you've found you're very much like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.

At least that's how Will Diaz feels. He's returned to a place that's familiar enough to be home but seems alien enough to be Mars. He's hired as a detective with a department he left years before. But things have changed. What was once a quiet rural area now having a large influx of drugs, violence, and even murder.

Will finds himself trying to deal with the pains of the past, the battles of the present, and preparing himself and the department for the future.

And all he has in his corner is friends, knowledge, and newfound faith in God.
