Kaitlyn Watson loves it when her girlfriend Wednesday—part-time witch, full-time nerd, and all-around bedroom genius—ties her up, teases, and torments her. But lately Kaitlyn's been wondering what it would be like to be the one swinging the whip. And finally, after a brush with death with an incubus, an awkward but fun kind-of threesome with Wednesday's ex-girlfriend, and Kaitlyn agreeing to spend July with Wednesday's creepy ghost grandmother, Wednesday has decided that she trusts Kaitlyn enough to let her give it a try.

Unfortunately, Jessie, Kaitlyn's best friend from high school whose malicious pranks accidentally brought Kaitlyn and Wednesday together in the first place, wants to learn magic too. And Jessie always gets what she wants. Wednesday agrees to introduce Jessie to her godmother, the formidable Dr. Flora Backhouse, who may be a vampire. Dr. Backhouse, however, is not the type to suffer fools gladly.

Will Kaitlyn finally get a chance to treat Wednesday like her dress-up doll and personal plaything, and will Wednesday have fun when the tables are turned? Or will Jessie keep interrupting their date nights when her personal drama turns deadly?
